2021 Ontario Sheet Metal Apprentice Competition Oct 19-20, 2021

The Ontario Sheet Metal Workers’ and Roofers’ Conference held their Annual Apprenticeship Competition this year in Toronto, ON. The 14 Apprentices that competed were from 8 different locals throughout Ontario. They were tested on their knowledge of Pattern Drafting, Theory and Practical Skills. Each competitor fabricated a replica of an antique Fire Truck, designed by David Dunn, to show our gratitude for Frontline Workers. Dave is a member of Local 30 and an instructor at the Ontario Sheet Metal Workers’ Training Centre. Congratulations to all participants and our winner Tom Little from Local 397 in Thunder Bay!
