MEMBERS OF SMWIA EMPLOYED IN ICI ROOFING IN THE PROVINCE OF ONTARIO
Mississauga, ON – On May 28, 2025, a Tentative Agreement was reached in ICI Roofing Bargaining. Ratification votes were held at all Local Unions throughout Ontario between May 30 and June 8, 2025.
Today, June 11, 2025 the Ontario Conference and your Roofing Negotiation Committee counted the ratification ballots.
After a fully verified ballot count 66% of members voted in support of ratifying the Tentative Agreement.
The Tentative Agreement has been ratified, and the ICI Roofing Collective Agreement has been renewed for May 1, 2025, through April 30, 2028.
The Ontario Conference and your local unions remind you that all negotiated monetary increases on the wage package are retroactive to Thursday May 1, 2025. All members should be getting a retroactive payment for all weeks retroactive to May 1, 2025 in the coming weeks.
