Mississauga, ON – The Ontario Conference and your Roofing ICI Negotiation Committee is pleased to announce that we have reached a Tentative Agreement with the Labour Relations Section of the Ontario Industrial Roofing Contractors’ Association.
Your Negotiating Committee worked diligently and ultimately achieved the best possible deal to address the rising cost of living facing our members. At this time, it is believed that the monetary package agreed to is one of, if not the highest percentage increases in the ICI sector of the Construction Industry. It is the highest percentage and monetary increase ever achieved in Roofing ICI Bargaining.
The Ontario Conference and Local Unions 47, 235, 269, 397, 473, 504, and 562 together strongly recommend that all members vote in support of the tentative agreement. Local Unions throughout Ontario will be holding ratification votes between June 9th and June 14th, 2022.
A full and detailed summary of the tentative agreement will be communicated only to the membership who attend Local Union ratification meetings.
